Brief History:
Anne Marie was born in Mississippi and lived a pretty normal life until she hit her adolescence. That was when she started to date, of course. Her first kiss, though, turned into disaster and she ended up almost killing the boy. She soon found out that she could not touch other people, for she would drain them of their life force.

She ran away from home and was found by the mutant Mystique. Mystique taught her the ways of the Brotherhood and Rogue saw her as a mother figure. For a while, Rogue was with Mystique and the Brotherhood. However, in one fight with the X-Men, she accidentally held onto Ms. Marvel for too long, killing her and taking her mutant ability of flight and super-strength permanently. Afterward, she sought refuge with Professor Xavier, and became and X-Man.
